So, this dial isn't your normal 5270 dial. It's a 12-layer lacquer dial with grey sunken sub-registers. It is absolutely sick. Then you have the fact that for the first time in a perpetual chronograph with a colored dial, the backgrounds of the month and day of the week match the dial color. Look at the 5970 or 5971 for example – the apertures have white backgrounds. Further, when you compare the 5271P to the 5971P that preceded it, you see you have diamonds on the lugs where you did not before, and a new diamond-covered deployant clasp.
